In the book Uglies, by Scott Westerfeld, a young, almost 16 year old girl named Tally Youngblood couldn’t wait to became a pretty and live in the new pretty town. However, after realizing how much this surgery affects your brain and your aspect on the world, Tally makes some drastic changes in her beliefs and ideas. This book shows two different sides of the world and how a teenage girl goes through struggles to find her true self.
